Thanksgiving: A Bon Appétit Manual App Reviews

Navigation is non-existent. Text is videos too small and goes by too quickly. Attractive pictures and nice recipe titles. Its just very user-unfriendly. Please fix it for Christmas.

This app is amazing - I would never have started planning on time with out it. Thanks to Bon Appetit my Thanksgiving will be the best ever!!

I made the bourbon maple pumpkin pie and it was spot on from a recipe standpoint and the design of the app is great.

I prepared 3 of the recipes (corn bread stuffing, sweet potatoes w/Stilton and pumpkin cheesecake). They were more work (for ex, making ginger cookies to crumble for crust) but my guests raved about the final dishes. Id like to have been able to edit the servings and put together my own menu from my favorites. Also, a shopping list would have helped. Hope there are more manuals!

Ive tried several recipes from this app and they are outstanding! Ive been a cook for 13yrs and Ive learned lots of techniques from this app. I also subscribe to the magazine and love the content. Although the app is a little "buggy", I can still navigate easily to my saved recipes.

Have installed this for yet another year, and for yet another year, this app does little more than crash. Where is BA? Can we actually get this thing to work please?

The app overall is nicely done. However some things dont work. You can click the plus sign on a recipe. You would expect this would add it to a custom list. It may very well, but no way to find it! The main reason I got the app was for the planning function. However, I was unable to change the times from default.

The recipes are, of course, fantastic and it is quite lovely to have them all in one location. However, whats the point of this app if the scheduler cannot be modified to your saved recipes but only to the ones that are pre-programmed? Besides that, being able to populate a shopping list from the recipes that the audience selects would be an awesome time saver! If the only feature that can be modified/customized is to save recipes then, Bon Ap, Im afraid your IT team just wasted a lot of development dollars on what is essentially a pointless app. I can do the same exact thing by saving all these recipes from your website in separate tabs in my browser window. Its too bad. I really wanted the app to be better this year. :/

While Im perusing the recipes, I suddenly am getting Swanson ads, recipes, etc. and no way to get back to Bon appetit. What gives?
